For many people the term criminal defense conjures up images of bad people doing bad things. However, criminal defense usually means defending the liberties many of us take granted. For instance when a local teacher, with no criminal history, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, threatened with losing his job and insulted by the arresting officer, he needed lawyers that were prepared to research the law and fight for him in front of a jury.
